Classroom of the Elite - Anime Review

Plot : We are introduced to Japan’s most prestigious school with world class amenities for students. It is said that the school guarantees 100% placement after the final semester. Junior students who entered the school for the first time feels like the school is a paradise. But the truth is different and only the upper class students knows about it!

Our main protagonist, Ayanokouji is a student of this school of D class where every inferior student is dumped. At first, each student is awarded with some points to make their daily needs inside the school premises. These points are awarded based on the performance of the student.




So, Ayanokouji and Suzune with some of his classmates wants to improve the condition of their class so they can earn more points. In doing this, Ayanokouji leads the class’s way from back and giving all credit to other people. He, with his genius mind manipulates his classmate in order to achieve more points at each task.


Our Opinion : The anime is quite decent with lots of funny moments surrounding the classroom. It also builds suspense around many things like when class D is in trouble, how Ayanokouji tries to overcome it, when class D wants to win a certain task with other classes,etc. But, I was highly disappointed by the way Ayanokouji is shown. He has so much potential in him and he deserves a lot.
As far as the animation and sound is considered, it is good. Other characters are pretty good and a good amount of time is spent in developing the characters.
One thing that is surely must watch is the plot twist revealed at the end of the anime.


Final Verdict : Overall, it is a simple anime with highly genius protagonist. If you like intelligent main characters anime, then this one is definitely for you. Otherwise, people expecting more of the school stuff here won’t be satisfied with it!
