Brave 10 is an underrated anime where our protagonist, Isanami is enforced to watch her temple and her people burned by an evil group of samurai. Being powerless, she is left with no other option but to leave the place. Fortunately, she meets someone. They both travel to Ueda Castle to ask Sanada for help. Sanada observes that a mischievous power was flowing from Isanami. This realisation led him to gather 10 brave warriors to help Isanami.

No.4 => Samurai Champloo

This is an action and adventure type anime where a waitress named Fuu accidentally spills a drink on one of her customers. The customers having a strong samurai background starts harassing her. With no option left, she calls another samurai from the shop named Mugen who quickly defeats them by his wild style. But the over-enthusiastic Mugen decides to pick a fight with an unwilling person named Jin. The fight ended up with destruction of entire shop and killing of local magistrate’s son. Both Jin and Mugen are put behind bars and set to be executed but Fuu comes to rescue them and a new adventure awaits for these three people.

Samurai X is an old anime but still one of my favorites. It is a bit long anime and story is also slow-paced but still worth watching. It is the story of a legendary assassin who is feared across entire country of Japan. But with the guilt of every assassin, he wish to repay his sins by helping weak people and vowing not to kill anyone again. Stumbling upon by some evil people who threatens to kill other poor people, will he still keeps his vow? That’s what you will discover in the story…

It’s an action pack anime with lots of intelligent strategies used in wars. Shimazu Toyohisa, while involved at the Battle of Sekigahara, manages to mortally wound Ii Naomasa, but is critically injured in the process. As he walks from the field wounded and bleeding, Toyohisa finds himself transported to a corridor of doors, where a bespectacled man at a desk waits for him. This man, Murasaki, sends Toyohisa through the nearest door where he wakes up in another world. There, Toyohisa meets other great warriors like him who have been transported as well, to be part of a group known as "Drifters".

This world contains both native humans and a number of fantastical races, including elves, dwarves, and hobbits. However, the world is at war, with the humans waging a losing conflict against another group of great warriors, the "Ends", who wish to take over the world and kill all of the Drifters. Under the Ends' command are many terrible creatures, including giants and dragons, which they use to destroy everything in their path. At the start of the series, the Ends' army has control of the northern part of the continent, and are trying to invade the south through a pivotal fortress at the northernmost tip of a nation called Carneades. Meanwhile, the "Octobrist Organization", a group of human magicians native to this world, attempts to bring together the many individual Drifters to save their world from the brutal Ends.

One of the greatest anime of all time having a mixture of action and comedy.

Earth has been invaded by aliens and swords are prohibited from the society. Due to this, the image of samurai in Japan gets degraded.

But our protagonist, Gintoki Sakata still believes in samurai. He along with a bunch of other people begins his revolt against the aliens. The story revolves around how they overcomes challenges and how they succeeds in fighting against the aliens.
