Best Short Anime To Watch (11-13 episodes) Part I

Hey guys! What’s going on? Today we are discussing best short anime to watch in terms of less number of episodes (11-13 to be precise). I am not listing anime like Mob psycho or One punch man as they are getting a new season. This list only consists of anime which are different from typical things…

So let’s begin our list ( in no particular order) :

No.6 => Charlotte

Number of Episodes : 13

The anime title is based on a comet named Charlotte which appears once every 75 years. It spreads dust across earth, which on getting inhaled by humans gives them superpowers. Our main protagonist Yuu Otosaka, has the ability to temporarily posses anyone’s body for 5 seconds. Due to some sudden and unfortunate events, Yuu falls into a deep depression as a result and isolates himself from everyone. But Nao, his school friend brings him back. After this a series of tragic events happen which adds to the evocative nature of the anime.

No.5 => Erased

Number of episodes : 12

The story follows Satoru Fujinuma, a young man who somehow possesses an ability known as "Revival" which sends him back in time moments before a life-threatening incident, allowing him to prevent it from happening again. When his mother is murdered by an unknown assailant in his own home, Satoru's ability suddenly sends him back eighteen years prior to when he was still in elementary school, giving him the opportunity to prevent a kidnapping incident that took the lives of three of his childhood friends, two classmates and one young girl studying at a different school nearby.

No.4 => Death Parade

Number of episodes : 12

Death parade is an interesting anime which tries to teach you some aspects of a game called Life. When someone dies, they are sent to a mysterious bar where bartenders greet them. They are forced to play some games with their lives on line. At the end of each game, they are told their reason of death. The anime revolves around Decim, the bartender whose soul changes after meeting a black haired woman.

No.3 => Zankyou No Terror

Number of episodes : 11

It is one of the most underrated anime in spite of having a good storyline. Although, the end is quite abrupt but the story is really a masterpiece. The story is based on Tokyo which is devastated by a terrorist group called Sphinx. They tried to bomb some specific places of Tokyo and the place is itself revealed by them in some form of riddle. At the end, we came to know a shocking truth about this terrorist group and their true motives.

No. 2 => Baccano!

Number of episodes : 13 + 3(special)

During the early 1930s in Chicago, the transcontinental train, Flying Pussyfoot, is starting its legendary journey that will leave a trail of blood all over the country. At the same time in New York, the ambitious scientist Szilard and his unwilling aide Ennis are looking for missing bottles of the immortality elixir. In addition, a war between the mafia groups is getting worse. On board the Advena Avis, in 1711, alchemists are about to learn the price of immortality.Based on the award-winning light novels of the same name, Baccano! follows several events that initially seem unrelated, both in time and place, but are part of a much bigger story—one of alchemy, survival and immortality. Initially, the anime seems a bit unstructured and boring but as we reach the end, it becomes quite interesting.

No.1 => AnoHana

Number of episodes : 11

A group of 6 childhood friends breaks up after one of them dies. The ghost of the dead person comes back and tries to patch up the things between the broken group. Initially, everyone tries to mingle reluctantly but things become complicated as everyone feels themselves responsible for their friends death. A very plain and simple story but yet extremely beautiful.
